Come and enjoy yourself in peaceful surroundings by the River Oich, away
from traffic and noise. The Ferguson family will be only too pleased to
meet you and share their experience with you. All we ask of you is to enjoy
yourself, and to leave only footprints and to take home only photographs.

About
Us
Our Centre started purely as a Family hobby through living and working on
the Croft.
It developed through people's interest in the animals we were caring for.
The variety of breeds just kept on expanding to the point that we would like
to share our fascination with others, So we opened . . . . Fort Augustus's
Rare Breeds Croft
Red Deer
Highland Cows
Jacob, Ryeland, Hebridean, Herdwick,
Shetland and Badger Faced Sheep all with Lambs
Vietnamese Pot Bellied Pigs
Goats and a Miniature Shetland Pony
A variety of Ducks and Geese in the pond
Pheasants of all kinds
Hens and Peacocks
And many more as we are adding to our stock all the time
Arriving at the farm you will be welcomed by a member of the Ferguson family hopefully, they will be available to give you a guided tour if required.
Please spend as long as you like, take time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
How
to find us
As you leave the main village car park beside the Tourist Information Centre
heading into the village of Fort Augustus (watch out for the blue and white
signs),
turn right along the river Oich, a very pleasant walk.
Or
If you are travelling along the A82 in Fort Augustus beside the Great Glen
Trading Centre, you will see our signs.
River
Side Walk
The short walk to the farm will take approx. 4 minutes and is just over 350
yards.
It is very pleasant and relaxing just what you need to unwind after sitting
in a car or bus all day. The walk is sheltered by the lovely trees and you
will see wild flowers also you will pass the pillars of the railway line that
closed in 1947.
